Shrewsbury Film expanded their film offer for audiences in Shropshire with support from Film Hub NWC which enabled them to put on midweek films throughout the year and attract an ever-growing number of attendees.

Young Programmers are discovering non-mainstream film and thinking about new ways to generate interest in trying something 'un-hollywood' as well as encouraging other young people to use their local, rural and part-time community cinema venues.

Conversations About Cinema: Impact of Conflict (Jan – July 2015) opened up discussions around a universal theme through film screenings, events and online publishing. It connected audiences, cinemas and partners across the BFI Film Audience Network, focusing on South West & West Midlands, Wales and Northern Ireland.
