Film London have published a brand new guide that will help FAN members meet the new priorities of the BFI’s Screen Culture 2033 Strategy.

The new priority audience age has shifted from a focus on 16-30-year-olds to a focus on under 25-year-olds which therefore now includes children and families.

Film London notes that families are a key part of the UK box office, but it’s not a part of film exhibition that is particularly well served with independent or adventurous film content. This resource aims to signpost some directions for exhibitors who want to build sustainable programmes for children and families, showing them where to source films and get inspired by best practice in this area with examples from the UK and around the world.
