Cinema For All launches Sustain scheme to support community cinemas

Cinema For All are delighted to launch their BFI-funded Sustain coaching programmes for 2022.

The popular coaching programme allows film groups to access funds and knowledge to empower them to take the next steps with their community cinema.

Sustain Shine is for groups that have been running at least a year, that would like to gain new knowledge and develop existing skills, to help the longevity of their cinema, and provides a £200 bursary to put towards your sustainability and 3x 90-minute online workshops strengthen your foundations and achieve new goals.

Sustain Develop is for community cinemas that are ready to focus on a specific project idea or make a meaningful collaboration with another community cinema. This includes a bursary between £600-£1000 and 3x 90-minute online workshops, to help create a project plan and develop any skills or new information that will help build your ideas. Past projects and collaborations have included: creating a cinema history walking tour, building an outdoor screening event, a collaborative short film screening spotlighting East Asian talent.

Deadline for all applications is Sunday 25th September 2022.
